COVID-19
COVID-19 Protocols
The Youngstown Historical Center of Industry and Labor, Ohio History Connection, and Youngstown State University are following current guidance from the CDC for safest behaviors related to COVID-19.
Effective March 3,2022, masks will no longer be required of visitors to the museum. Masks are required to visit the Archives/Library, regardless of vaccination status, per CDC recommendation and Youngstown State University protocol.
Reservations are not necessary to tour our galleries except for large groups. We will continue to follow our enhanced cleaning procedures, and continue to monitor the guidance of the CDC and update these guidelines accordingly.
Thank you!
To help stop the spread of coronavirus:
Wash your hands thoroughly and often with soap and water. Use sanitizer when hand-washing is not an option.
Early data show that vaccines help keep people with no symptoms from spreading COVID-19. To learn more about the COVID-19 vaccine, visit the CDC website.
Wear a face mask covering your nose and mouth while in the presence of others if you are not yet eligible or are unable to be vaccinated.
Avoid crowds and large gatherings.
Practice social distancing (maintain at least 3-6 feet between yourself and others).
Stay home if you are experiencing any symptoms relating to coronavirus (cough, fever, fatigue, and more).
